The Best Butt Exercise Ever (and a story!)

Hi! if you don’t know who I am,.. my name is Ryan Orrico. I’ve sorta been “behind the scenes” for the past year or so helping Valerie with some of her products/marketing etc.

It’s been such an awesome experience.. she has been so very generous, bringing me to these super swanky Hollywood parties, movie premieres, even private screenings of movies at her celeb clients homes.

What a way to experience LA right?

When I made my official move to this area a few months back, I was in the most horrendous shape I think I’ve ever been in. Not only was I way overweight, but my energy levels were progressively getting worse and worse.

If I was going to stay in the land of beautiful people, something had to change!

So I made it my mission, starting in March of this year to rid myself of the belly and maybe even get some arms in the process!

And that’s what I did.

I’ve dramatically changed my physique and lifestyle over the past 4 or so months and I thought I’d share some of my story and a few things that have worked for me.

The Valslides have been instrumental in my success and I can’t say enough great things about them.

Now I’m not quite in “shirt-off, six-pack” shape yet, but the changes are apparent.

Not a day goes by where one of the trainers of gym members asks me “what the hell are you doing?!”

Can’t tell you how great that feels to be reassured that what I’m doing is really working.. because as you probably know, sometimes the changes aren’t apparent to your own eyes.

Here’s a general run-down of what my training/diet looks like. It’s nothing major at all.. but I think I’ve discovered a system that allows me to make great progress in as little time as possible. Granted, it does take a little work..

Gym – 3 times per week, for approximately 45 minutes
Traditional cardio – NONE
Diet – solid – but I still enjoy myself.
Chocolate – I eat it EVERY day

I’m 27 years old, sure.. but I am certainly NOT blessed with the “good genes” – so I can assure you, you can see these very same type of results.

If there’s interest, I’ll be making a series of posts, detailing more what I’m doing in regards to training and diet. Let me know what you think!

But for now, take a look at my absolute FAVORITE lower body exercise. One that i feel has been instrumental in developing the butt which I’ve been told is sorta cute. I dunno! Check it out (the exercise, not my butt!) :-)

Congratulations!!!! You look great. You started me out on this life change so I am glad to see you are doing this for yourself too. Sounds like LA is going good for you, so happy to hear. Keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone so much for the awesome feedback!!!

I normally try to respond to everyone individually but I had no idea I’d get this many comments..

Surpisingly, it hasn’t been all that difficult getting to where I am now.. I sorta just decided and did it. And believe me, I was coming from doing EVERYTHING you possibly can do wrong, WRONG! Too much of everything bad.

I will be writing some followup posts starting tonight and I’ll try to get em up and out this afternoon.

    We’ll talk about diet/training/chocolate/alcohol/girls/etc! :-)

    Hi Girls!

Ryan has worked hard for sure and the results show!! I am so proud of him. Once he made the shift in his mind and got clear on his intentions, there’s been no stopping him. His workouts are intense but he’s in and out and his diet is tight (no bread, no crap) but he really does eat chocolate every day! It’s the good stuff though, no milk chocolate junk.

He will do more posts I’m sure. He loves the attention and feedback you’ve sent.
