Thank's for doing the red carpet tv again Val! Although we don't celebrate thanksgiving in Sweden the tips are so valuable, christmas is coming up aswell so it's good to be prepared. I will definetly think that I'm choosing and not dieting this christmas, and to say that i'm full, my mother in law always tries to get me eating more.. ;)
Ordered the shirt as well, so cool! I will be the hottest girl at the gym in it ;)
Thank's again Val!
Hugs,
Emma in cold Sweden

Love the tips - if you make the "dressing" recipe I sent you - you can eat guilt free!! :) I just cook that dressing along with turkey breast, green beans (not casserole) seasoned with bouillion, plain sweet potatoes (instead of casserole) then I may add the brown sugar twin and cinamon and non fat greek vanilla yogurt to jazz it up (that also doubles as my sweet potato pie!). I don't eat the rolls or any other high calories sides.
Wonderful advice about being grateful and thankful - that IS what is all about!!!

Val
That is so funny - I love shirts with stars on them and I was going to ask you where you got the shirt!! Where do we get them??

I love this pic of MB. She is one of the pillars of the RCR club and really motivates all of us so much! Linda and Leeanne you are there too, holding us all up too!

Val, this is a great series you started...and I'm so glad it's back up! Just watched this episode with my mom and she loved it!

Red Carpet Ready was the first program I did after my pregnancy. In the first 5 weeks I saw major changes. Your advice, motivation, and just general attitude really got me started on clean eating and exercising every single day. Now, when I wear my RCR tee, I really do feel red carpet ready.

That is most def a hot picture of MB! I will definitely be working out Thursday morning as well. Thanksgiving dinner is easy for me to behave with, but dessert will be tough...knowing I worked hard in the morning will make all the difference! Great stuff--and cute t-shirt!!

Oh Valerie! I cannot believe it's been 1 year since my first RCR-style Thanksgiving meal...and then of course my 'big reveal' for RCR.TV on my Caribbean cruise a week later! (Love that 'tabloid' pic! Felt so good to be so RCR in my bikini!)

Thanksgiving and other holiday meals are a breeze now that I know how and what to eat, and how to stay on course with exercise through all the festivities. My biggest tricks before holiday meals include eating a well-balanced snack beforehand, drinking a few cups of water as well, and popping in some peppermint chewing gum! The gum keeps my mouth occupied so I'm not tempted to nibble prior to the meal. And of course, I fill up my plate with plenty of veggies, some lean meat, and salad. Just a bite of dessert!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so thankful for you, RCR club, and for my healthy & fit body!

Great tips! This year I am having Thanksgiving at my home and I am making the usual Thanksgiving dinner (at least what is usual in a Cuban/Italian/Greek household - haha) but I am adding some healthy choice sides that I know I can eat such as instead of mashed potatoes I'll have mashed garlic cauliflower, green beans instead of the green bean casserole, etc. Last year what I did was we celebrated at my sister's house but turned it into a pot luck so I was able to bring healthier dishes that I know I can eat. Hope this helps! Keep up the great work Val!

Thanks LeeAnne! You gave some great ideas. We RCR girls no how important it is to plan prep and prepare. You will get through the holidays more fit than when you went in, as long have good strategies in place.

I would love to hear from others as to what your strategy is for Thanksgiving.
