This post is a gift to Valerie for her birthday..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAL
Love your RCR Girls!!

Happy Happy Birthday dear Valerie! Just wanted to say how blessed I am to have known you as my ‘personal fitness trainer’ and friend now for a little over a year now…I am finally in a place where I know what to do with my fitness and health and I have you to thank for it!  I hope this year brings another year of ‘everything you want it to be’!!  Love ya, xxMary Bess

Val, Happy Birthday!!!!  You have done so much for me I don’t know where to start!!  The most important thing I have learned from you is to simplify!!!  I always hear your voice, “you’re only one work out away from a good mood” or “you’re only one meal away from a RCR girl”.   Now when I fall off the wagon I just get back up, dust myself off and start again.  Thank you for all of you love and passion!!  I  am forever grateful!! Love, Cynthia

Here are some of the highlights of what Val has taught me:

The most important part of “Red Carpet Ready” is the word “Ready” :  being prepared and “ready” by purging your kitchen, buying and stocking clean foods,  lining up your water bottles,  and being armed with an arsenal of workouts is key.

Always have a “plan B” or a “plan C” available to stay in the game when life throws you a curve:   have a short, intense workout plan available if your exercise time gets cut short, have a plan for if you get injured and have to change the workout all together, take RCR friendly snacks to go in the car or the plane…etc.

“Progress not perfection” this is the story of my life…I so rarely have a perfect day, but Val always says concentrate on making one or two things better everyday and the rest of it will fall into place….even if the plan is to stay more hydrated and to steam veggies early in the day, that is considered progress if you follow through and do it.  Pushing 2 or 3 extra reps per workout is progress….strategizing your way out of a binge of bad food is progress…it all counts!

Lastly do everything you can to stay in the game.  If you “fall off the wagon” all it takes is one work out, or one meal to feel connected again…you’re only one workout away from a good mood…the same holds for getting back on track with the next meal.

The list is long but this is what always stands out to me after an entire year of doing all I can to stay RCR.  No other plan or program has ever been this worthwhile, fun or effective! Happy Birthday Valerie!! Love Dawn!!

Val–I only discovered you and your workouts about 5 weeks ago, but in that time you have completely changed the way I feel about my body. I no longer feel helpless in my fight against belly pooch because it’s disappearing before my eyes–and I’ve always had a belly pooch! But what you’ve changed for me is deeper than that. Your workouts make me feel strong, capable and feminine–the way you have me training makes me appreciate what my body can do which makes me want to take even better care of it. The dread factor is gone. Instead I’ve got a virtuous cycle–I work out, it makes me love myself so I work out and eat well which makes me love myself even more!

More than this, the care you show each of us in the Red Carpet Ready Club makes this journey even more wonderful. It is one thing for me to know how great your workouts make me look and feel, but it’s another thing to know that you sincerely care about my success–it keeps me going on days when it would be easier to forget to take care of myself. Thank you, Val. I feel so lucky to have found you. Much love and happiness to you on your birthday! Kate (KateMorningside)

As I’ve blogged all over the net, I’ve been a diet/exerciser since I was 13; I’ve been a trained dancer, group exercise instructor, yogini, nutty for nutritional trends and was on every trend that came out.

Thinking I was being pro-active on middle age I started training with heavier weights and less carbs as my 40’s hit…well, I went up a few pounds and got shapelier, which wasn’t bad, but by 46, my shoulders, knees, and joints were falling apart from decades of overuse, and my long held weight of 126-132 for YEARS zoomed up to 144 and STAYED there!

I found Valerie and RCR in despair -having to quit teaching my 10 classes a week and on a month long leave from my ICU nursing due to shoulder damage…..I poured my heart out to her, never dreaming there were REAL people at the other end and she answered my letter….so I tried the 6 week original RCR - lighter workouts than I had done in years, but also very spare diet, high in vegetables, fruit, and not a lot of red meat, which to my cardiac nurse soul, was prudent…6 weeks later, 6lbs gone…

But what is more - A very sociable girl, I’m still reclusive when not working…I work out alone, hang around the house alone, take care of my family and work….and the Forum, as moderator -to share what I’ve learned on the journey, became a network of kindred spirits and girlfriends! Along with support for what works/doesn’t work in diet/fitness, we also shared laughs, heartache, insight, and unconditional acceptance as women all trying to make something wonderful out of our lives.

At the head of it is Valerie - a strong if tiny woman, who has an honesty, sincerity, and generosity that sets her apart from the average human, and whose quiet commitment to her method has created a realistic, healthy and lifelong system of fitness for everyone.

I am closer to 50 than 40 now, and have not had to take anything for joint/bone pain in over a year by adopting Val’s techniques, my weight is in range of my norm - couple pounds up as I hit the mid life hormonal change, but healthy, pain free and fit…Moreover, Val has given us the blessed gift of a nationwide family that encourages and strengthens us daily! Happy Birthday Val!! Love Michelle!

Happy Birthday Val!! Thank you doesn’t seem like enough.  Even though I have never met you (but I am putting that on my wish list) I feel like you truly are a friend.  You have reached out to all of us and helped us reach our fitness goals.  You know how to inspire and nurture all of your girls.  You have brought together an amazing group of people who I would have never met otherwise.  I feel blessed to have you in my life.  I wish you the happiest of birthdays and hope that 2010 is the best year yet! Love Alicia -

Dear Valerie – My world is so much brighter because you’re a part of it.  You took a depressed post-pregnancy blob and helped mold me into a sexy, confident action hero mama!  It’s not just my body that you’ve changed, either.  My husband lost almost 20 pounds and has increased energy thanks to the lessons you taught me about food prep and eating smaller meals throughout the day.  All of this is wonderful, but it’s nothing compared to seeing how these new healthy habits are being handed down to our son.  For example, the boy loves hanging out in the kitchen while I’m making meals because he knows that he will get to nibble on tasty treats such as sweet bell pepper slices and tomatoes.  Is there really anything more satisfying than a 20-month old asking for more veggies?  J
My little guy also looks at exercise as a fun family activity.  If I’ve been sitting at the computer too long in the morning, he comes over, grabs my hand and starts doing squats.  Talk about motivation to get up and move!  On AHB days, the boy plays while I get set up, but as soon as you show up on the screen he immediately drops what he’s doing, runs to the TV and begins doing squats.  When I’m lifting weights, he picks up my little 2lb dumbbells and starts busting out bicep curls.  While he doesn’t understand it in these terms, yet, Spencer is learning that it’s good to eat right and exercise.  That’s an important lesson that too many people are missing out on these days.  Thanks to you, I am equipped to give my son the best, healthiest start possible and that is absolutely priceless.
I can say without doubt or question that I am where I am today because you inspired me to do what I didn’t think was possible.  You gave me the tools I needed to become a better wife, mother and woman.  Saying “thank you” seems so small and inadequate, but it’s all I have to sum up just how much I appreciate everything you’ve done for me and my family.  You are such a blessing and we appreciate you very much.  I hope your birthday is filled with all kinds of wonderful – you certainly deserve the very best life has to offer! Love, StephM

“I’ve learned so much this year from you, gone from fighting weight gain to be more balanced both weight wise and as a person. I just want to thank you so much for all the inspiration, motivation and love that you give to all of the girls! Hugs Emma”

************************************************************************
Happy Birthday Val!! Obviously, working for you has been the most amazing opportunity ever and I’m ever so grateful - I can’t even put it into words.
But also, thanks for being a total inspiration to change my life and change my body and the way I live forever! Never did I ever imagine wearing shorts
and liking the way I looked … actually, i never imagined liking the way I looked in anything other than sweats. Thank you for all of your logical and realistic
advice. Thank you for helping me to understand that it’s quality, not quantity, when it comes to working out. Thank you for promoting a healthy lifestyle
that delivers results and the motivation to keep on keeping on. I’ve never been more aware of my body and how I treat it. Getting to see the
ways in which you change SO MANY lives of SO MANY women is amazing. The Red Carpet Ready club has been and continues to be such a wonderful
place for support - again, thanks for creating a place where nobody judges and everyone roots for everyone else! I wish you the best birthday ever, until
next year, when it’s going to be even better. Best wishes!! I love you.
XO - Nikki

What I’ve learned from working with Val is that healthy nutrition and exercise must be consistent and well planned to stay the course. This is made so much easier by the fabulous tools, strategies and amazing personal attention given by Val. Val, you truly care about each person’s individual fitness journey and ensure that the transformations that take place will be lasting lifestyle changes. I cannot thank you enough for helping me rediscover my passion for fitness again; it is truly a wonderful Xmas gift you have given to me and my loved ones. Val attracts beautiful souls and I feel so blessed to be supported and inspired by all of here RCR ladies. Thanks so much Val, I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in 2010 as you go from strength to strength. Merry Christmas, with all my love and thanks - Rachel P.

Becoming a part of the RCR group is one of the best things that I did in 2009. I first purchased the Red Carpet Ready program based on Steph C.’s recommendation and started with that. I have been struggling with my weight for as long as I can remember. What I love about the RCR eating plan is that it is not a fad or a short term solution. Now that I am focusing on clean eating, I cannot ever imagine going back to the way that I had been eating before. For the first time, I feel like I have truly learned the best way to eat for both weight loss and for taking care of my body. I cannot thank you enough for all of the wonderful recipes (salsa chicken is such a great staple for me now) and for showing us how we should be eating. I have lost 30 pounds in the last 4 months! The workouts for all of your programs are wonderful as well. I love the fact that I can do the circuits at home or I can do them at the gym. They allow me a great deal of flexibility to workout when I am traveling or just don’t feel like leaving my house to drive to the gym. The workout programs and eating plans are fantastic on their own, but what has made this journey possible is the personal accountability that I have received from you and from the RCR forum. I have never been a part of a group that was so encouraging and so positive. Between the live chats and the constant personal interaction with the RCR forum, you have provided the perfect place for a complete transformation to be your best self. I am still very much on this journey and have several goals to be met in 2010, but I know that this year that it WILL happen, and I cannot say thank you enough to you for creating such wonderful programs and such a fantastic support group. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!  Happy Birthday to you Valerie! Tracy Cook

Dear Val, Happy Birthday! This year I wanted to give you my genuine gratitude as my gift. I truly appreciate your leadership, support and honesty. You have inspired me to continue living my healthiest life. My love of fitness has been renewed as a direct result of being part of the RCR family! I look at my body with a new sense of appreciation. Everyday, I decide to make the investment in myself and my health. Eating well is now just something I do. It’s not a chore. I feel the best when I am taking the best care of me.

You have given me the confidence to set and achieve new fitness goals! I have especially enjoyed the time we got to spend training together in LA. It was a real highlight for me! I know that you want me to succeed just as much as one of your celeb clients. Thank you for helping us become the stars of our own lives!
I wish you the happiest birthday ever and continued success in the New Year! Looking forward to continuing the RCR journey with you and the rest of my new friends! Love, Heather K.

Val has taught me so many wonderful things, not just about proper nutrition and exercising, but how to live my life to the fullest! How to make each day count and for that I am forever grateful! I love the workouts; they make me feel so much happier and stronger! I get so much energy from the style of training that Val teaches. I enjoy her nutrition advice and I have made so many more healthy choices in life because of what I have learned from Val. The women I have met that is associated with Val and the ladies in her club are my friends for life! It is a great feeling knowing that I can count on a group of ladies to help me when I need them, or to get me through a rough day! I can’t thank Val enough for coming into my life and bringing so many great things, I only hope I  can give back half of what she has given me!! Happy Birthday Val! Mandy Stafford

Val – I don’t even know where to begin as there are so many things that you have taught me.  I know that consistency is key and to take it one meal at a time.  Although I am not where I want to be, you have provided me with all of the tools necessary to achieve my goals.  The forum that you have created is a necessity.  Everyone that I have met on the forum has been so warm and accepting.  Nobody judges you or makes you feel any less of yourself.  I love your blogs, videos, chats and all of your advice.  Everything you do for us really means the world to all of us.  It keeps us going.  You are always there when we need you even though you have a busy life of your own..  I just want to say thank you for all that you do and hope you have a wonderful birthday.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAL!!!

Val, I can’t tell you what this club means to me.  Having heard about you for years, when I decided I needed a program to finally get fit I googled your name first and found RCR.  Already excited about it, I called your office to ask a few questions.  When you answered the phone yourself I couldn’t believe it - I knew it was a sign!  I knew the RCR program would be a good workout, but what I never expected to find were you and all of these amazing women.  You are, without a doubt, one of the sweetest, most giving people I have ever met.  Your constant support and caring for each one of us is so touching and is such a source of motivation.  I’m still amazed at the amount of time and energy you spend helping each one of us reach our fitness goals and be the best that we can be, mentally and physically.  I still have a ways to go, but I’m certain that with you on my side I will get there! Love,Joy

Well what can I say! I learnt about RCR over 3 yrs ago now before the RCR site was launched in September ‘08. I have learnt a new way of exercising from Val that I know suits my body type and me. I have 6 children and going to the gym is not always an option, working out in the lounge room is! Val has given me the tools and the know-how. A big thank you! Val is one of the only people I know that can re-invent them self the way she does with the way she reaches so many people. She is ever changing and a bundle of inspiration and joy! I just hope one day I am as fortunate as the rest of the RCR girls in getting the pleasure in meeting you! So if you are ever in the great south land (Australia), please let me know!!!!!!!  A big happy birthday, all my love Peta xxx

***********************************************************************************************************
I have bought all of Val’s programs, and love them all. I have learned a lot over the last year from her.  I am eating better, and exercising more.  I can see that I do not have to settle for the dread middle aged spread.  I can be strong and healthy — at any age, thank you Val for teaching me that. Happy Birthday – Shari K.

I discovered Valerie at a time when I really needed a pick me up…actually more of a kick me in my “everything” was in order! I’ve talked about my story tons of times, but the reality is I was in a bad place physically and emotionally after the first year of motherhood.

The support she has shown me and all the other women in the Red Carpet Ready club is truly exceptional.  Over the past year, I have regained my confidence, my positive outlook on life, and a body I haven’t seen since high school!

The physical changes that I’ve experienced keep me motivated and striving to improve my health — but with that said, that’s not the only reason I keep coming back to the RCR club and stick with Val. She’s family now. That’s what family does.  I’m sure that the other women would say the same.  There is something truly unique about working with Val.  She is a beautiful individual with a loving spirit.   Val - Happy Birthday!!!  I hope you have an amazing birthday and that your New Year is filled with all of the success you truly deserve.” Love Anne S.

*******************************************************************************************
It has meant so much to me to get motivation every couple of weeks to better myself!  I have learned through this program that I am strong and it feels so good to be in control.  You’ll never know how much it means to me and helps me to get new emails and things posted on the red carpet ready site that shows a whole community striving to live clean and strong!  Thanks for all you do!  Happy Birthday!  Denise H.
Valerie has completely changed the way I approach fitness.  Her circuits are challenging and very effective, but don’t require hours and hours of time in the gym.  I also love the look she targets, and her belief that women can get bulky.  Her passion to help people succeed is evident, and the time she puts in to reach out to everyone is fantastic.  Her online chats are amazing, and her smiling happy face is so motivational.  Thank you Val!  Candice M. George

Valerie, how do you thank someone for giving you their life back?  I do not know. The words I want to express are not enough. You have made me a happier, more loving, and better person, friend, wife and mother. I make time for myself. This is something my own mother does not do. I hope my children will learn by example the importance of loving yourself. My transformation was not just a physical one.  You connected with my head and heart.  People do not recognize me.  I do not recognize myself. You showed me anything is possible. The difference is “I BELIEVE IT”. Thank you for connecting me to a wonderful group of sisters (and Ryan). I feel blessed. Have a wonderful birthday, a stronger new year. Love, Shelley  cheers, shel

Dearest Valerie, Happy Birthday!  Thank you for another amazing year.  You’ve been with me through my most extraordinary ups and downs.  You are a true friend and I wouldn’t have survived without you by my side reminding me that
“YOU’RE ONLY ONE WORKOUT AWAY FROM A GOOD MOOD”!  It works every time…and now the whole of Santa Fe is living by those words, too.
My rear-end thanks you for all things Valslide as well as the lunges,
Mountain Climber, Bruce-Lee Kicks and fire-hydrant…and even my arms
are grateful for those painful-pushaways!  Have a great birthday and
know that everyone from the RCR Club loves, appreciates, looks-up to and adores you. Lots of love, Xxx, Rachel N.

Dear Val: You have been such an inspiration and motivational factor in my life.  You have helped me see how leading a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be painful and can be enjoyed along with the blessings in our everyday life.

You are a ray of sunshine and you exude compassion, strength and a strong sense of loyalty to all. I am blessed to be a part of your forum and to have met so many wonderful, caring and intelligent women there.  What you do completely changes lives!  I hope to always be a part of your RCR creation.

Many blessings to you always and wishing you an amazing and fun filled Birthday!!!  You are truly a beautiful person inside and out.  I wish to one day have the opportunity to meet you and make you proud as I am currently going through your AHB transformation. Many thanks, Denise L. =)

Thanks for enhancing my life to this point Val. You have an amazing gift of being able to inspire and lead people. It’s almost been a full year since RCR; I can’t believe it. I’ve learned so much from you about truly taking care of myself and making myself a happier person. Thank you for that. Happy birthday. With Love, Hailey

************************************************************************
Dear Val,
Happy birthday!! Although we are supposed to be writing you as a “gift” it is really you who has given us the biggest gift of all. I came to RCR as a last resort. I was done dieting, done with quick fixes. I needed to get me sanity back as well as my body and mindset. When I began RCR, I was flooded with way too much information from don’t eat this and don’t eat that. The minute I let them go and trusted you with everything was the true turning point in my life.

It’s silly to think how profound of an impact weight and health has on one’s mind. I was constantly feeling defeated before RCR. This program has changed my life. I am proud to be in my skin instead of ashamed. I went from my highest weight ever to shedding over 13 pounds. Even in the treacherous holiday season of food, for the first time I trust myself to make good decisions. Why? Well, it’s because of you. Your program speaks to me. I feel inspired and motivated and can hear you saying, “You’re one workout a way from a good mood.” You don’t “half-ass” your program to us, so therefore I am fully committed to you. You don’t need to host chats to make sure that our head is in the right place or take the substantial amount of time to write in our journals– but you do. You are so amazing. The wealth of knowledge you are plus the constant support you give makes this journey one that is invaluable. I am so blessed to be a part of this and nothing would be possible without you. I can’t emphasize enough how much you mean to us. I am heading in the right direction, but most of all I am now confident and strong…and it is all thanks to you.

Happy, happy birthday Val! Can’t wait for future endeavors and all you have to share. You are special…please know how much we adore you.

Thanks again,
Elizabeth

I’ve learned how to be a better woman from you Val.  By this I mean a more complete, healthy, and at peace woman.  I didn’t realize until I started working with you just how little regard I had for what I put in my body and how I treated it.  Yes, I had worked out before, but I didn’t really pay attention to the food, and we all know how important that part is.  Now I really think about what I eat and drink.  I really love the challenge of your workouts, though I never find them too tough (and always know if they’re ever too easy, you’ll help me with that too!).  But I think the most important lesson from you is learning my self worth.  Knowing it isn’t selfish to take care of myself, that the people in my life actually need that from me, and that I really have enjoyed each step of this journey.  I am more lean and more fit than I’ve ever been as an adult (heck, probably ever), and my level of gratitude to you is endless for that! Happy Birthday Val! Big hugs, Steph C.

***********************************************************************
What you have taught me is to add to my love for running a new love for lifting weights and doing workout circuits. I could always train hard for marathons, but over 20 years, it became clear that running alone was not enough to stay in great shape. Thanks to your style of combining cardio interval training with whole body circuit workouts, I have finally learned to train my whole body- and it shows. I am proud of my new gained
strength- it’s great for everyday life as well!

In addition to teaching me to train properly, you have also completely changed the way I look at food. Coming from a high calorie, high carb, low protein diet I have now learned to eat less, eat more frequently and most of all add more protein into my diet.

What I love about your program is that it is very doable, and that you encourage a gradual change of training and eating habits. I am also very taken with your honesty and long term perspective. There are no gimmicks, shortcuts or quick solutions. Initially I was very frustrated with your statement ‘There is no such thing as maintenance’ but now I appreciate this statement the most. I have learned to give up on dieting and to change the way I eat instead.

Last not least, it is very clear from your involvement in the RCR club that you care deeply about the progress and success of each single person. That is the secret of why you are such a great trainer. Happy Birthday Val!

Love Silke

I’ve known Val and her Red Carpet Ready program for just over a year and can’t believe what a difference she has made to my life. Every time I hear her speak I come away with new knowledge and a new feeling of inspiration and belief in myself. I never thought I’d like working out at home but I LOVE both the RCR and AHB workouts and actually look forward to doing them. No more gym memberships for me. I can now workout at my preferred time - as soon as I get out of bed.

I think the main thing I have learnt from Val is that I don’t have to be perfect all the time and that one slip does not mean I need to launch into a full blown eating marathon. Through Val, I’ve met the wonderful girls in the RCR forums - like minded girls who are just like Val, full of support and information. I’ve still got a long way to go to get the body I want but thanks to Val, I know that one day I will get there. Thanks so much for everything Val. You are an amazing, giving person and I’m so thankful for the internet that has allowed you teach and inspire me. One day I hope very much to get to thank you in person. Happy Birthday! Love from Libby (in Australia)

Becoming an Action Hero Babe has meant many things to me… Through Val’s program, I was able to focus on my health and wellness for the long-run and achieve excellent results. By following the program, I was able to sculpt my body into an Action Hero Babe faster than I thought possible… I became stronger, leaner, and healthier as an end result!! I also felt good knowing that I was taking charge of my health, and that I looked good while I was reaching that goal. I was even stunned to learn that I could break through a certain weight loss plateau… Consistency and dedication was key to my success, but the support of the RCR club also helped.

Anyhow, I want to thank Val for helping to inspire more confidence in myself… I proved to myself that when I set my mind to something, I can achieve it. That means a LOT to me, and that is the best feeling in the world… So whether it is a fitness goal or some other personal goal, it’s great to know that anything is possible!!

P.S. The RCR club is fantastic! I have met many women who have provided excellent motivation, held me accountable and even provided strategies for when I was facing a certain challenge. The knowledge I have learned in the club is priceless, and the feedback is excellent! Thanks Val and Ryan for making all of this possible.   Happy Birthday Val!
Love Danielly ~

Val is simply the best professionally and personally. She reads and answers your e-mails and tweets, she is always coming up with something new and innovative to share with the world. There’s a genuine warmth she exudes that makes you know she really cares:) I suffered a leg/hip injury earlier in 2009 and found it painful to walk–during physical therapy I realized I could use the Valband and the Valslides to rehab my leg and I can now walk pain free! Thanks Val! Looking forward to what you teach us in 2010 and…hmmmm…maybe “KettleVals???”Mary I.

Valerie Waters — plus her Red Carpet Ready Club — changed my attitude towards fitness and healthy, clean eating and increased my self-confidence dramatically.  Her advice, workouts and motivation have allowed me to feel great about myself.  I know that my body rocks and that I have all of the tools I need to continue improving my health and my fitness level.  I’m happy, I’m confident, I feel like I can move mountains and kick ass.  I look forward to every new workout, video, chat, program, club and message.  Val has made a remarkable positive impact on my life, and I love her so much for it!  Happy birthday, Val!!  Love Lauren!

If I could describe Val in a few words it would be motivating , accessible , committed & very caring!  I was not sure what to expect when I signed up to do the Diamond Program. I’ve made some terrific friends, found support and encouragement all because of Val.  She is just so dedicated - whether she is spending her time with a celebrity client or sharing her knowledge with just your every day
person like me wanting to learn the tools to have a healthier lifestyle.

Have a very Happy Birthday Val !!!!!  -Sheila Jenkins

What I’ve learned from Valerie:  1. that even movie stars have to do the basics– eat right and exercise 2. That it is possible to be in your 40’s and still have an Action Hero Babe body 3. That famous celebrity trainer’s can be incredibly down to earth and caring to even non-celebrity clients! 4. That workouts can be fun and effective (who knew?!) Debbie (beospenser)

***********************************************************************

I have spent over 15 years trying various diet and exercise programs with little success–becoming more and more frustrated and depressed. Valerie program is absolutely amazing and teaches you how to live your life in a way that you can reach your goals without having to be obsessed with spending hours a day in the gym or severe dieting. Her workouts are fun and intense (but not to the point that you want to quit) and her eating plan encourages real food that is easy to prepare.

In the past, I was quick to jump on the latest bandwagon that would offer me the answer to losing weight and getting fit. However, I am now at a place, thanks to Val, that I don’t need any other program because I know what works. Valerie Water’s Red Carpet Ready, Bikini Body and Action Hero Babe plans produce the results I need and I no longer need to search out a program that will help me reach my goals. Valerie has given me the tools and knowledge so that I KNOW WHAT TO DO, it is just a matter of consistently doing it.

Valerie’s chat and forum provide additional tools that give you the edge on getting fit and lean and also provide the much needed motivation that is often needed to keep you on track in your program. Her personal advice and encouragement and the interactions among club members creates an environment where you feel confident that you can reach your goals and you develop a community of friends that are always there to offer support.

“Progress, not perfection” has allowed me to be kind to myself and realize that this is a lifelong journey where perfection is not expected to reach your goals.

“Eat clean and exercise consistently, not obsessively” has given me permission to get rid of the all or none attitude and realize that while reaching your goals may take work and consistent effort, you don’t have to give up everything that is important to you to reach your goals.

“You are one workout away from a good mood” encourages me that some exercise is better than none and that I truly do feel so much better with regular physical activity.

Most importantly, Valerie has taught me to love who I am and feel confident, no matter how I look and where I am in the process of reaching my goals. She has helped me create a balance where I can reach my goals yet continue to live my life being busy with my family and work.

Valerie Waters has been such a positive influence in my life this past year. Valerie is such a beautiful, kind, and knowledgeable woman and I love and admire her in so many ways. THANKS, VAL!!

Val on your birthday I want to share a little something with you – After being with you for a year, I have found you to be a very loving and caring person – someone who deeply cares about the girls in her forum, and their success – and I’m not talking about a superficial caring, I’m talking about a deep level of caring that comes from giving a piece of yourself.  This comes across very clearly by the time and energy you put in to your live chats, your visits and very personal posts of encouragement in the forum, as well the never ending supply of new workouts you provide to us; most which have been created because of our personal struggles or physical limitation. To do this means you listen and care. I have told you many times that finding you and this place of love and support has not only changed my body, but my life. I have found women who I now consider my friends and family – yes my sisters, whom I consider you one of as well. Thank you for giving so much of you to us - Happy birthday my friend! Love LeeAnne!!!

*******************************************************************************************

Hey Val!  I have so much to thank you for I don’t even know where to begin.  The past 18-ish months have been some of the best I’ve ever had.  I can’t even fully express my appreciation for all you’ve done for me and the opportunity you’ve given me.  From meeting all your fancy clients to being billed as the Creative Director on the most badass set of fitness DVD’s ever.  Your trust truly means the world to me.  Thank you so so much.

Happy Birthday!

Let’s crush it in 2010!

Happy Birthday, Val! You are such a treasure and I so appreciate how much of your knowledge and yourself you have shared with us. Happy Birthday Val! I can’t really put into words how your program and philosophy have changed the way I work out and think about food. You have been such an inspiration to me and have given me motivation to get through those last sets each workout when I really just want to fall on the floor.

I haven’t been able to be as actively involved lately as I would like but knowing that you and the RCR club and boards are there when I need them is such a comfort! Thank you for bringing that into my life.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

    Hi Val,

Couldn’t miss out on wishing you a very Happy Birthday today! I knew you had to be a Capricorn [so am I] because they are caring, hard working, never say die type of people who usually make their mark on this world and mostly for the GOOD that is.

Your help in getting me back in shape was invaluable. So THANK YOU with all my heart! And I remember asking you a couple of years ago when you would have DVDs out, when I received your RCR 128 page PDF of incredible exercises and knowledge on how to stay fit.

I have your Valslide DVDs and Action Hero Babe DVDs and they are amazing and really work. I bought a set for my niece who just had her first child and she is using them and loving them too and telling all her friends.

The world would be a far less happier and healthier place without your incredible spirit, personality, kindness and fitness support. And you have attracted wonderful people to you like Nikki and Ryan, which doesn’t surprise me at all. Like attracts like!

Enjoy your day and Happy New Year. I wish you much happiness, health, fitness and prosperity in 2010 and always!

    All the best
    Wendy

    Happy Birthday Val!

Reading everyone’s comments gives me the chills. You truly have a gift, the gift of not only being a kickass trainer, but also of being able to reach people in a way that many other’s can’t. It’s as if you can talk to people at their deepest level, at their core, and kinda… remind them of who they really are.

I feel so blessed to have you in my life. You are an amazing friend. Happy Birthday, and like I said, this is the first day of the best year of your life so far. I can’t wait to see what is in store!
