I LOVE reverse lunges on the valslide! I have knee injuries and can’t do regular lunges, however, because of the way the valslide works, I can do reverse lunges on the valslide without any pain, flare-ups, or injury. Honestly, the valslide has been a HUGE blessing for me. Thanks, Val!! :)

    Thanks, Val!
I’ve been doing regular squats regularly, and look forward to my legs getting stronger!

    Thanks Dawn! Thanks MB!

Michelle, start with regular body weight squats and then when you get stronger, try the single leg version with the strap.

I saw your latest video on the single leg squat for thighs. My legs aren’t strong enough for single leg squats. They can do double leg squats. Should I continue with the normal squats? Will the normal squats bulk up my thighs? Thanks!

Wow Val–the possibilities are truly endless with the Valslide. I especially love the combination of the Valslide and the airrex pad and of course the kettle bell. These are all great ideas to mix up with lots of our old favorites!

    xo!

Carole – You can order the Women’s Health Big Book of exercises on Amazon.

There are so many great ideas in there.

Val – I’m always happy to get a new video demonstrating more uses of the Valslide. Any chance you’ll share clips of your workout with the Celebrity Fit Club winner? Either way, please keep the tips coming!

Love the reverse lunge with kettlebell…2 great training tools! Thanks for the superb variations!

The reverse lunge with the Valslides is THE BEST move EVER for your butt. Seriously…the plain and simple (but not too simple!) reverse lunch never gets old.. Valerie, it’s the best tool in fitness today and I’m so glad to see it get out to the masses…

I have the Women’s Health Big Book of Exercises and think it is great resource. I will check out the other two books mentioned. Love all the variations on the valslide reverse lunge. I am going to give them a try! Thanks!

Love all these exercises Val – but my favorite is the kettlebell loaded reverse lunge… with the pumpkin ; )

The Reverse Lunge is unmatched in what it can do! I haven’t tried the front foot on the airrex pad, so I’ll do that next! My favorite reverse lunge is one from IWMBB 2.0 where you lunge back and twist toward bent knee (holding a weighted ball!). I still pop that into any workout I’m doing! Love that feeling on my waistline as I twist!

    Awesome video!

I love this! Reminders of some old favourites, new variations for the gym….and lots of options for days when I have to sneak in a quickie workout at home because of work. Yay!
And you’re looking great as usual Val!
