My Easiest (and yummiest) Tomato Sauce (inspired by Every Day Food Magazine)
Pin ItGrilled chicken, baked salmon, roasted vegetables with rice or quinoa pasta all can be transformed with this super easy tomato sauce. I absolutely love it!! Even if you don’t know how to cook, you can still make this super easy and super yummy recipe. Try it this week and let me know what you think. I am pretty sure it will become one of your go to recipes too!

Pre Heat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Pour 2 cans (28 oz. each) of whole peeled tomatoes into a large roasting pan.
Using your hands, tear the tomatoes into pieces. When finished, drizzle with with olive oil.
Add a handful of chopped Kalamata olives, 2 tablespoons of capers, 3 garlic cloves (smashed & peeled) or tsp. crushed garlic from a jar.
*Optional: add a sprinkle of crushed chili peppers.
Roast for 70-80 minutes, stirring half way through. Serve immediately over fish, chicken, roasted veggies or quinoa pasta, or let cool and refrigerate up to a week or freeze.

Sounds delish! Ryan isn’t a fan of olives so I don’t cook with them often (but I love them). Let me know the next time you’re having this for dinner… I’m coming over!
